Level 5 traceability represents the highest maturity level of serialization and supply chain visibility. It connects all stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem — manufacturers, 3PLs, distributors, hospitals, pharmacies, and regulators — into a single interoperable, event-driven traceability network.

It is built on global standards such as GS1 and event-sharing frameworks like EPCIS to ensure secure and standardized data exchange.
